Bop was born and raised in Oakland, California. He grew up during a time in where Oakland was experiencing the CRACK ERA.
With the many things in Oakland that one could get involved in Bop chose to put his focus on sports and music. Bop grew up
listening to alot of bay area music and west coast music like 2pac, too short mc hammer, the luniz , the click, spice 1,richie
rich, dru down,nwa,dr. Dre and a host of other rappers that were doing there thang in the 90s. Growing up in oakland he learned
how to hustle at an early age because that was jus a way of living. If you wasn't hustlin or doin sumthen to get further then
what were you doing? Bop always had music in his blood due to his mom and dad raisen him off the oldies and the new school
music, and you just knew his love for rap was unquestionable. Bop began writing music at the age of 13. He would write music
when he was bored in class or when he was at home at nite listening to the radio he would write and freestyle over the beats.
Ragg was born and raised in Inglewood, Ca. He grew up in the tough streets of L.A. when GANG BANGEN was at an alltime high.
It wasn't very hard however for Ragg to keep his mind on the right track having his oldest brother playing in the NFL and
his second oldest brother Kocst D rappen. Ragg began spenden his time playing football and doing music. Ragg grew up listening
to the sounds of 2pac,biggie, jay z, ice cube, snoop dogg, suga free, dj quick,The liks,dogg pound,whoridas, e-4o and a lot
of others that were putten it down. Also growing up to the oldie but goodies his mom and dad played for him gave him a overall
different perspective on music. But rap was always his 1st love. While ragg was spenden alot of his time doing music and sports
his homies from the hood were being put on and involved with the gang bangen, but they knew ragg was into the sports and the
music and they definately respected him for that. Ragg was always the one you could catch at school practice or even study
hall busten out with the rhymes. Bop and Ragg met in 2000 while attending school at Sacramento state. Both coming from different
sides of california(northern and southern) they had there different views on certain things in the world. But that was the
least of the problem. They both were competing for the same spot. Which caused them to always be going at eachother. However,
throughout it all they focused more on the things they had in common and most important of all there love for music. Since
2001 Bop and Ragg have been recording and can be found on numerous download sites. There long awaited debut album THE BAY
